Greta and her husband Joe, lead a team of 18 church members on a mission trip to Honduras in July. Although CPA’s attend numerous hours of continuing professional education courses each year, this was Greta’s first continuing spiritual education trip.

Honduras remains one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, with an average daily wage of $2. Instead of providing tax and business consulting services in her typical day at the office, she was helping build mud huts and reading Bible stories in Spanish to children in Honduras. “I returned home determined to cultivate a continuous attitude of gratefulness for our many blessings.” Greta said as she reflected on this enriching experience
